I am not Catholic. I am an evangelical Christian and yes, this offends me. It makes a mockery of the sanctity of Communion, which was Jesus shedding his body and blood for our sins.

The point is that no one can behave in a way that doesn’t offend them (except that one, apparently) so their opinion on this is irrelevant. When everything offends you, people stop caring about offending you.
