RFK Jr and the dead bear cub

What I missed at first glance is that this guy was 60 when he did this! This sounds like the very poor judgment of frat bros, not old ass men. Goodness.

What restrictions should the federal government put on colleges to prevent this, and what justification would they use?

Now every time I see a bizarre item dumped somewhere it doesn’t belong, I’ll forever think, “perhaps a Kennedy dragged it there!”

Because you know, it’s possible.

The RFK Jr bear thing is very weird and strange and oddly hilarious. But the next big RFK Jr story is the obvious one… How the Harris tornado has taken all the oxygen out of his 3rd party campaign. To the point of an irrelevance. No market for it to exist anymore.

As nuts as this story is it’s even more nuts that the reporter at the Times who filed the story on the bear being found in Central Park was Caroline Kennedy’s daughter Tatiana, RFK Jr.’s cousin!

Wasn’t there just a bear carcass found in a weird place in Arlington? I seem to remember seeing a thread about this really recently.

Oh man, he could have given her quite the scoop.

Yes some road workers supposedly dumped a bear in Arlington. People should stop murdering bears.

Why is that nuts? DC, NY, Hollywood. All family dynasties. And they cross between sectors: Finance, entertainment, politics, (and they are all found at the top). This case is not unusual at all. Start using wikipedia and you can see parents, brothers, cousins … all household names. I mean … when you wiki, just start in Hollywood and backtrack from there!

Not unusual that a Kennedy became a journalist w/ a good gig.

Yes, a Kennedy totally left it there.

The point is that the journalist that reported on that story originally, many years ago, is a Kennedy. And we only learned now that it was a Kennedy that dumped the bear carcass. It's a pretty odd coincidence.

Did anyone ask RFK where he was at the time?

He now has my vote. Every candidate is incompetent but at least he would be crazy fun incompetent.

Clearly he gave her the scoop

So I did some light reading on the Kennedys this evening and color me surprised.

This family is a bunch of trashy grifters. They are also very reckless and make bad decisions; a number of the untimely deaths associated with this family were senseless and could have been prevented!

They benefit from having established their name/reputation before social media and the 24-hr news cycle.

And RFK Jr’s vanity and hubris may have just blown the whole facade wide open.

What a grift.
