Liberal and left-wing politics associated with higher intelligence

Every time I see one of these threads pop up with the same story, I think back to one of the great Simpsons episodes. That is these people exactly.

Go visit Democratic-controlled downtown Baltimore, Philly, Detroit, St. Louis, etc and see what nuance is doing for those places.

I live in DC and quite happy with my Democrat-lead city. Thanks!

LOL. Excellent point.

I think it's more like liberals realize that our understanding of life and nature is not concrete, and we learn more and more about our natural world as we study and open our minds to studying and research, whereas conservatives are stuck believing what they have been told is true by propaganda.

It's like how people were told that the earth was flat, and when a scientist told them that it's not, the powers that be who were afraid of losing their power on the stupid masses, jailed the truth teller.

Unfortunately covid revealed liberals were anything but open minded and tolerant and receptive to new information rathet than guided by unquestioning dogmatic belief.

Your point is?

Covid revealed how many ignorant and selfish people there are who would not practice basic public health measures to stop the spread of a deadly pandemic, forcing schools and businesses and the global economy to shut down until vaccines were available to save lives and provide protection from hospitalization and death.

Good grief.
We were told that taking the vaccine would prevent the spread of Covid - which turned out to be totally WRONG. Refusing to take the vaccine was neither ignorant or selfish. For many, taking the vaccine was a health risk.

The businesses and schools were forced to stay shut by ignorant people. Once we knew children were not at risk, there was no reason to keep schools closed. And, states that opened schools did not see a spike in Covid cases.

No one said it would "prevent" the spread of covid. That isn't how vaccines work. it mitigates the spread and it mitigates the impact of the virus, should one get it. And yes, it can SlOW the spread.

BULLSHIT.

It’s official: Vaccinated people don’t transmit COVID-19
https://fortune.com/2021/04/01/its-official-vaccinated-people-dont-transmit-covid-19/

CDC Data Suggests Vaccinated Don’t Carry, Can’t Spread Virus
https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021/04/cdc-data-suggests-vaccinated-dont-carry-cant-spread-virus.html

Fact-check: Biden said vaccinated people can't spread COVID-19. Is that right?

Yes, it's the Dem party that is dictating what women can or can't do with their bodies, who people are allowed to love and/or marry, and trying to impose their religious beliefs in as many spheres of public life as they can in a secular country.

I seem to remember democrats ordering certain people to get vaccinations or face penalties such as losing their jobs. OTOH, they welcomed illegal aliens at the southern border in with no tests or vaccinations required.

Only federal employees/contractors including the military, were required to get vaccinated. Anyone else had the option for testing. Stop making things up.

Incoming Freshman at Harvard are still required to have all COVID vaccines and boosters. #science #indoctrination

Well that’s a LIE. And unlike you, I have a source to cite.

https://huhs.harvard.edu/patients-and-visitors/medical-records-and-immunizations/immunization-compliance/#:~:text=Updated%20on%20March%205%2C%202024,receive%20the%20COVID%2D19%20vaccine.

Did you think no one would fact check you. #idiocracy

It is a choice to go to Harvard, not a mandate. A private entity can create whatever rules they want.

And because no one on here fact checks TrumpTwats, I will. LIE that Harvard still requires COVID vaccines.

Why is this whole thread arguing about Vaccine mandates at Harvard THAT DON’T EXIST.

Come on y’all. MAGA lies. All the time. About everything. Sometime just for the sake of lying. Before you take the bait and make the very questionable assumption that their assertions are the truth, do 20 seconds worth of fact checking.

Otherwise, you really are as dumb as MAGA.

You can thank the taxpayers for keeping DC from the miserable fates of those other Democratic-led cities. At least for now.

I think the post about Harvard and the vaxx mandate is indicative of how conservatives are easily lied to.

The vaccines saved hundreds of thousands of lives and allowed everything to reopen. You are predictably clueless.

It shows how gullible conservatives are. And the less intelligent tend to be more gullible.

Red states have higher per-capita crime than blue states. You may want to check yourself on this.

Most of the lowest-income counties in America are solidly red:

Examples
Crowley Co, CO 73% GOP $22,240 per capita income
Wheeler Co, GA 69% GOP $23,545 per capita income
Union Co, FL 82% GOP $26,536 per capita income
Elliott Co, KY 75% GOP $27,403 per capita income
Madison Co, ID 79% GOP $27,936 per capita income
Forest Co, PA 71% GOP $28,009 per capita income
Telfair Co, GA 65% GOP $28,393 per capita income
Lake Co, TN 73% GOP $30,404 per capita income
Noble Co, OH 81% GOP $31,123 per capita income
Charlton Co, GA 75% GOP $31,382 per capita income

Similarly some of the counties with the highest percentage of people on food stamps like Clay Co. WV are solidly Republican as well.

Blue democrat cities are what raise the GDP and income of red states statewide.
