Agreed. Everything makes sense in hindsight.

The edited pics do not make sense and the statement that she edited them do not make sense. Yes, even in tragedy, leaders should still not manipulate the public. Asking for privacy is one thing, manipulation is another. So, I am still suspect at anyone making excuses for the latter (particuarly over and over again on this website).

+1 And I feel terrible for her but it also does not make sense if he only visited her once.

You are assuming rumors as facts. Why do you care? This is incredibly sad. Just leave it be.

His wife and his father. It's a shame his brother has been such an additional source of stress to the family as they battle serious health issues.

Wishing them both a full recovery.

The gleeful speculation re: DV and affairs was in poor taste then and extremely cruel in light of what has now been revealed. I think the timing was in part due to that but also due to the "Easter" date that had been communicated earlier.

My heart goes out to the kids, still so very young.

Stop desperately trying to bring his brother into this. He and his wife have nothing to do with this.

It was not “gleeful” speculation. You have a really twisted view of everything.

Why? This is a single forum in a different country. We weren’t on TV or magazines with it. No one in the royal family was reading that thread.

How many of the awful articles and posts here did you click on and/or write? The press and the internet promoted these stories because it draws clicks and revenue. You are feeding the beast.

Why not say what it is?

Colon? Uterine? Cervical? Ovarian? Bladder?

Hope it isn’t pancreatic. Although I know a few people who had early diagnoses that are living pretty well for now.

tbh because it may have spread some. It doesn't really matter in the grand scope of things

I am thinking/hoping not since it’s preventative chemo.

Oh do shut up. You don’t feel terrible at all. No one “manipulated” the public any more than the average filter on an insta photo. And he probably visited her all the time in a blacked out car. I hope all you nasty vultures will quiet down. The woman asked for privacy can you give that?

Poor william as well - I can’t imagine how alone he may feel

+1 there was even talk of domestic violence, divorce, and a facelift. Sick.

+2 Terrible how people desperate, insecure people resort to their lowlife tactics. If only they knew productive ways to feed their deficient mind and soul.

This would also explain it initially being a planned routine surgery, they generally are, In some cases, fibroids can also rupture in such a way to require immediate surgery.

Anyway whatever the cause I do hope she makes a full recovery, for her sake, the sake of her very young kids, and her poor husband whose had enough tragedy in his life.

Still doesn't quite explain the Mother's Day photo.

Hoping she makes a full recovery and folks leave them alone.

The Mothers Day photo can be clearly explained by a palace official having their head up their ass and not understanding the social media environment and just making a huge blunder.

This.

So impressed she actually sat there and told us herself. The palace could have simply put out a statement. She is pure class.

I'm a cancer patient myself, around the same age, so I have deep empathy for her and I wish her the best of health. But, if the Royal family wants everyone to respect their legitimacy (lol), and continue to get paid with taxpayer money, there are expectations. That includes some transparency and not doctoring photos.

And then blaming it on the woman with the cancer???

No, I bet she did it herself, while feeling sick and tired, and just didn’t do a great job and was too tired to care. Which is SO understandable and I hope people
Stop making fun of the photo. The woman was dealing with cancer and chemo and did a not great editing job of a photo and the world is STILL making fun of the photo.

It’s not making fun of editing. It’s the deception. All they had to do to avoid this was make a Canva square with a message from her or them.

Or they could have released an old phone, or no photo at all. If you release a photo to secure a certain type of reaction, you can't complain of backfire when people see the photo wasn't released in good faith--you are not entitled to the reaction you expect. Sympathy turned into suspicion.

Stop. It.

The palace has been silent because a mother didn’t want her three young children learning about her serious illness from the press. And they were excoriated for it. The last thing they need now is armchair oncologists speculating on her health status.

Do you have no empathy at all for what this family is going through? Can you even imagine what it was like to have to break the news of an illness like this to your children while the press and every internet troll is reporting that you’re divorcing or dead? I would hope that those of you who spent days frantically typing out increasingly bizarre theories about affairs etc have learned a lesson, but apparently not.

Doubtful the kids are n SM discussing their mother.
Anonymous
People just need to mind their own business. It is of no consequence to any of us if she lives, dies divorces William etc. Everyone just need to move on and let them be.

The photo discussion went to over 500 pages and Jeff closed it. Let's stay on topic for today.
