I agree this is true...for math. But there's no levels in english/history so it's still tough. |

In The DC tourney: Sidwell girls varsity hoops v Carroll this afternoon. Sidwell boys varsity v. Gonzaga tonight.
Let's go Quakers, time to take names and kick some popish ass. |
| God bleeds purple |
Give me a break! I’m sorry but Sidwell parents and kids have not absorbed the Quaker values. The school is only superficially Quaker. |
It's true. Bullis boys' basketball and T and F are excellent, but not much else athletically. The head is concentrating on academics, much to the chagrin of some. |
| OMG people are messing with you. Most Sidwell folk know we’re the best all around and just laugh at all of this stuff |
Everyone at every school complains about their MS! Not unique to Sidwell |
| And leave if you are not happy. |
Tired of people saying leave like it’s super easy to transfer. Literally people are waiting with bated breath to find out if they were accepted to begin with. Then, you want people to uproot their children, when children need stability. No, the school should check to make sure its division heads are doing a good job and its teachers are not being mean, angry, curmudgeons. |
| Do parents at these academically-oriented schools allow their kids to play football? With what we know about CTE, I find that hard to believe. I have a middle school boy, and no one I know would let their kid near a football field. |
