Everyone is gone at the Washington Post... Almost no Metro section left...

That was really the only reason I subscribed. Now, I can cancel my $18 per month and just read it through Apple News. It's not worth it to me anymore.

I was already getting more through DC City Cast, Washington City Paper and DCist. I'll give to those publications.

Newspapers in general are dead.
Margarett Sullivan wrote an article in the Post a couple of years ago saying that it was the duty the wealthy to invest in saving newspapers and that they should not expect any return on investment.

One story from today, one from yesterday, one from the day before https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia/. Anyone getting local news from the post isn't actually getting the news. Meanwhile multiple stories per day on WTOP and NBC4
