OP, I think you and your wife are doing well, but need to keep working and saving to support your kids college tuition, living expenses, etc. The world is so much more expensive today and hard to make a living and these kids in their 20s are going to need some help from their parents in order to make it, whether it be help with rent, tuition, living expenses, etc. You and your wife have done a good job saving but I would adopt the mindset that your next five years are all about (1) making money so you don’t have to tap into existing investments and continue to contribute to retirement, and (2) getting your kids off to a great start in life by funneling money towards their education and being able to help them establish themselves in their 20s. Just my two cents and this is the mindset I am adopting as a person similarly situated to you.
