CVS in DC now has to resort to photos of items for sale on shelves

That store will close soon. If you can't even stock shelves, what's the point?

Thank you Jeff Bezos for creating amazon!

I literally just witnessed a guy walking into the CVS on Carroll Ave, cashier rush to the intercom to call security and in the mist of that, the guy walking out with two large rolls of toilet paper; one in each hand. I couldn’t believe it, well yes I could.

Soon the progressives will be decrying “retail deserts.”

DC businesses haven’t faced this kind of existential threat since the ‘68 riots and arson.

Poor choices with high prices.

Even CVS will start closing stores in droves soon.

Apparently drug free zones do exist in DC. I wonder if the whole foods parking lot is within 1000 feet of JR? DC police could issue a LOT of tickets.

Worth pursuing.

If DC residents can’t have nice neighborhood retail it is because of their own actions and the inaction of local government.

Sure those rolls of toilet paper were not a receipt? He probably bought a pack of gum and took his receipt which would look like two rolls of TP.

But let me guess, who cares about billion dollar corporations, it barely affects their revenues, it is insured, yadda yadda yadda.

I hope voters in the city love all of the inconvenience and retail deserts they voted for.

Instead of locking up merchandise in stores,

- we should be locking up the people who steal it.
