So the "David Duke With Baggage" (David Duke was the KKK leader who hates blacks and jews) that the House Speaker designee espouses is ok, but the fringe left DSA types are will be what drive you to vote for Republicans?

No, unfortunately, I don’t think anything about where American politics is okay. But I think that I have to exercise my right to decide for myself what is the lesser of two evils. In my life, I’ve been exposed to a lot of religious fundamentalists in the mid-west who have a lot of respect for Jews and that is the majority of the Republican voters in red states. Not all Republicans are KKK just like not all Democrats are represented by “the Squad.” But will I hold onto my liberal ideals at the expense of my life, my children’s lives, or my grandchildren’s lives? No, I won’t. I’ll let go of work politics and selective social causes and go with the side that, in my opinion, is less likely to be led down a primrose path where my relatives and peace-loving friends are beheaded. Call me names for it - I don’t care. What I’ve seen all over the news the past week is 1200 Israelis - who celebrate peace or live communist lifestyles on kibbutzes next to Gaza - die. You don’t have to be liberal to want peace.

OMG no. Christian fundamentalists don't have respect for Jews. The only thing they care about is some wacko apocalypse prophecies involving Israel and whatever they can do to accelerate that in order to fulfil their warped ideas of what it takes to bring on the rapture so they can get into heaven.

You will probably lie and say that you come from a family of Christian Fundamentalists if questioned about your false comments.
But, we know the truth. You know none. You have a stereotypical view of the world and nothing is going to change that.

The evidence about evangelical attitudes is clear. In 2006, a Pew survey found that evangelical Christians were more favorable toward Israel than the average American was—and much more sympathetic than either mainline Protestants or secularists.

Remember Charlottesville? “Many good people on both sides?” This moderate Jew remembers and will continue to support Democrats.

DP. The difference is, groups like Proud Boys are a tiny fringe faction. Liberals who support Palestine/hate Israel are the majority on college campuses and among the self-proclaimed “academic,” social justice crowd. I want no part of either, but the groups on the left, listed above, are FAR more prevalent and dangerous. I’ll be voting Republican.

The Proud Boys were Trump's henchmen and inner circle.
And you are ascribing some fringe college students to the whole democratic party. That is pretty weak sauce.

I’m a Democrat and a Jew, but to say this is only fringe college students is wrong.

BLM has a sordid history with Jews. So does DSA. So does AOC, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib.

This is not fringe. This is the left wing of a major US political party.

Yeah sure. The “leftist”! You just hate blacks and women. Your party is the party that openly welcomes Nazi, evangelistic Christians and white supremacist - the republicans. When those guys turn on you for being a Jew do not be surprised. During WW2 the fascist came for all the minorities and the one who fully supported them.

PP is exactly right. When several BLM groups, and a variety of other Democrat-voting groups openly celebrate the atrocities committed by Hamas to Jews, don't be shocked if their eyes are opened to the anti-semetism rampant in the Democratic Party.

Learning resistant, aren’t you?

I agree with this view. I don’t think most American Jews will change their voting stance based on their religion or allegiance to Jews. But I’m a Jewish Democrat and I’ve been increasingly frustrated with a lot of Dem policies - over regulation, “woke politics,” homeless crises that are poisoning our cities, etc. Keeping Jewish people safe worldwide is also important to me and is a “tipping” issue that will tip me in one direction over another. I’ll see which party I think will do the best job before deciding which party I will vote for.

I’m a woman and if you could read, you’d see I said I’m a Democrat.

There are plenty of women who voted for Trump because they believe in his policies and rhetoric. By your own words you are one of them. Do not be surprised when the republicans abandoned Israel. One of the reason they are having problems picking a new speaker in funding for Israel. There is a group who do not want any more funds going to Israel.

Cori Bush
Ilhan Omar
Rashida Tlaib
AOC - wouldn’t attend an event run by Americans for peace now a couple years ago - was finally forced to condemn DSA/Hamas yesterday.

All of them can go right now.

Which one of them has ANY leadership positions in the House or the Dem Party?

If you don't believe that AOC is running to replace Chuck Schumer, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. The Democratic Party has a youth problem - I really was very defensive of all of these women when they were first elected. Cori Bush tried to grift free clothes from Macys and I was like, she doesn't know any better. Ilhan Tlaib made some pretty AS statement and committed adultery with a married dude, I was like, meh, give her the benefit of the doubt. Rashida Tlaib kept telling actual Black Detroiters that she is a person of a color -and folks were like, she's dumb but harmless. Nope. Get them out and bring in some moderate younger people. They are going to divide the party at a time when we need to be fighting off fascism in 2024.

The leader of the Democratic Party has recommitted our nation’s unwavering support for Israel!
There are some fringe Democrats like Booker, Tlaib, and Omar who refuse to support Israel but they are inconsequential. DSA, SJP, are not Democrats. They are just hate filled people.

They’re not inconsequential. They are leaders of the left wing of the party and they drive how the party handles social justice issues.

Corey Booker is hugely supportive of Israel and has received death threats for it.

Uh, no. We fully recognize them for what they are - the extreme left wing fringe. And most of them aren't actually even Democrats, they are anarchocommunists et cetera who hate the Democrats as much as they hate Republicans.

Prove to us they don’t vote for Democrats.

They vote for Democrats. Has any democrat in a leadership position embraced and amplified their views? If so, please share it here.

On the other hand, the GOP has embraced a virtual Confederate view of the United States and clearly has no respect for the US Constitution.

You are missing the point. The Evangelicals support Israel because they believe in The Rapture, and all that it entails. Maybe read up on this. It isn't out of some love for the Jews, whom they blame for the death of Jesus Christ.

"running to replace Schumer" in what cycle? He isn't that old.

So no, you cannot name any of these Dems who are in leadership positions.

None of those people are Dem leadership.

The AOC obsession. I don't get it. Does Fox have a daily column on her whereabouts?

She's a very junior member of the House, and in the Democratic caucus that does not mean that she gets to decide the fate of the party leadership.

Christians do believe in the rapture..and that jews are Gods people and that Jesus was a Jew and that the only people who killed Jesus were ourselves and our sins. Nobody killed Jesus..He laid his life down willingly for the sins of the World. As God he could speak those doing violence to him out of existence.
