Does this Taylor Swift fling with the NFL football brute seem super fake?

It's obviously fake slop for the masses. Bread and circuses. Wow two childless and unwed 33-year-olds cruising in a convertible muscle car around Midwest City, USA after the brute scrambled his brain in his big sport ball game. Maybe they stopped to get some barbecue, washed it down with some ice cold Coca-Cola® and Miller Lite® and created a few Tik-Toks. Pure Americana!

P.S. Did you know the 2024 election is the most important of our lifetime?

They are both from similar backgrounds and very accomplished. Maybe it’s a set up maybe it’s for real. He’s like a giant teddy bear. I think they are cute and he needs her stylists help.

Stuff like this drives me nuts.

Why do you think it’s fake? She gets to bang a jock, he gets to bang a pop star. It’s as simple as that

To answer the OP, no I don’t think it’s serious, for either of them.

I'm now convinced this is entirely fake. But why?

I love her music but much of what she does is not authentic. Look at who she was having dinner with last week. Twice.

Who?

Anyway, I can't see it lasting, but I don't know what she'd gain by putting on a fake show of dating him.

Re-bolster her appeal with flyover country? Sporty narrative. Kansas City is America's
team and their quarterback is arguably the most famous athlete in America. Over 20 million Americans were watching the game she was at.

the woman sold out an entire north american stadium tour in minutes. her appeal is firmly in place in every part of the country. can she really not date whomever she chooses without people making it a thing?

NFL "boyfriend" during the season on a flyover state team probably polled well in a focus group (after the ick fling with the British weirdo). Everything she does is poll tested.

Does she really need to? Apparently the demand for her concert tickets was 900x the number of tickets they actually had to offer, crashing Ticketmaster's site. What's gonna happen... demand will drop to 500x?

Exactly! Some sexist assumes this PR stunt helps her more than him. It does not. She is already Grade A famous. He is some dumb jock looking for fame when his football days are done.

Yes!!

Super fake. I think the NFL is paying her. NFL was tweeting right away.

What!? She’s from PA and moved to TN when she was a teen.

+1.

I don’t think it’s contrived… I think what happened is Taylor was probably flattered. Travis is the exact opposite of my type, but I have to admit there’s something kind of cute about him. He does seem funny and sweet, and I could her see getting turned on by hearing that he liked her and wanting to meet him. Doesn’t mean they’re going to date, but she probably was interested in getting to know him.

Yep. After six years of dating a guy who would barely acknowledged the relationship, she’s probably loving Kelce’s willingness to openly pursue her.

Of course it's fake and the masses are eating it up. Everything she does is calculated. No, she doesn't "need" to do this, but does she strike anybody as the type to rest on her laurels? Not even hating - she is a marketing genius with a high work ethic and I have a ton of respect for that.

He's a popular and engaging podcast host. I think he'll be fine when his playing days are done without this.

This fake crap has been telegraphed for months with various “viral” clips of macho NFL players at her concerts. It’s cool and okay for men to listen to her catalog! She’s targeting the football demo. Tens of millions of men—over 30 million Americans have a fantasy football team. This cohort swings general elections, which I’m assuming is the real motive here.

Yep! This is why you have so many football teams talking about their fave TS songs. Do we really think that was not planned?!

I just found out that there is a Reddit with 20000 members dedicated to proving that Taylor is gay/bi 😂

Agree- she was giddy at this public courting.

The teams were asked about favorite songs because Swift’s tour was in town. I doubt she’s been working with the NFL. She sold out a stadium tour without their help.
