Now THAT school is out of control. My kid was in 8th at JW and we started applying for privates by Oct of last year, because the kids were horrific and there was no control. The principal was rarely there and no SRO. No consequences. Once we started hearing about drug bathrooms, gangs and guns on RM campus, we knew we made the right decision to leave.

I think it is pockets are areas of schools. Kids with single parents trying to survive and kids coddled by entitled parents. It's awful. The parents that want true learning and structure leave public schools.

That’s rich. Not all of us have that luxury.

I have a kid at RM and am definitely frustrated by the issues with the bathrooms and the prevalence of drugs on campus, etc.

We definitely can’t afford private school. And so wish there was something we could do to make our schools a better/safer environment for our students and teachers.

How do you know that freshman did it? Not that it is OK regardless of the grade student was in.
FWIW, I have freshman at RM right now and DC actually likes the school.

Was your RM freshman kid a student at JW last year?

Are you okay.with people cursing at you at your job? Give me a break. Teachers don't need to put up with your little snowflakes potty mouth and disrespect. Some people have standards for how they are treated.
