Because they don’t really care about trafficking. To wit: - they oppose all comprehensive and age appropriate sexual education in schools. Comprehensive sexual education includes lots and lots of information about consent and who gets to touch a person’s body and listening to your intuition. - they oppose laws banning child marriage - they typically support, without question, the institutions (law enforcement and religion) that are generally found to be guilty of sexual assault against minors and related crimes and they do not support investigations prosecutions of the people (generally men) in these institutions who are guilty of these crimes against children, i.e., they protect the criminals - they do not support women and girls having bodily autonomy - they do not acknowledge the existence of “rape culture” and what that means for victims of sexual assault Of course they support Trump the rapist. They’re not too bothered about rape and sexual assault. |
