You have a few choices.

You could go somewhere where the off season is spring or summer. That’s probably for a reason like the weather so you need to do some research about what it might be like.

In reality, the harder it is to get to a place or travel around it, the more likely that place will be less crowded. So you could look for somewhere where flights have 2 or 3 connections if an especially long flight. But you need to consider whether it’s easy to get to from other places - eg places Americans rarely go to may well be full of Europeans.
