Yes, you are excusing his choice to abuse both Tina and his children. Tina forgave him, but she never forgot what he did to her. And she never trusted him again. The world is lucky that Tina was so intelligent to listen to her inner voice and NOT people telling her to worry about Ike and his motives. She got away ALIVE when that man literally wanted her DEAD.

For some personal reason i guess, you are twisting the meaning of my words. I have never said, suggested, or implied that Tina wasn't abused by Ike; and I have not defended his abuse of Tina in any way. In my original post, i stated that both "truly suffered as kids. I'm not excusing his abuse, but he was terribly abused during his childhood."

New to me. I did not live in small towns and it's like saying, "Tina Turner-kicked the bucket!" "Tina Turner! Worm food!"
