School in June is a waste of time

I wish we could just scrap the last week of school this year. It's so pointless.

Just count them as snow days we didn't get and end school a week early.

The school year should move back to starting after Labor Day if the end of classes won’t move up to late May to account for the earlier start date. DC is traditionally on vacation during the month of August.

The last 3-5 weeks are filler weeks at our elementary. Made up group projects to fill the time. No new learning after the SOLs.
