Clothing that you’ve purchased or seen that is inexpensive but wonderful quality?

I haven't read the whole thread, but the Kirkland brand t-shirts and sweatshirts, etc. that I get at Costco are really good quality. I'm wearing a long sleeve tee that I just bought and it's really nice and thick.

I was purging some boxed items in my house, and dug up a business wear dress I had purchased from Casual Corner (if you remember that store, it's not upper end) when I first started working in the late 90s.

Man, that dress was wonderfully sewn, bust darts in the proper place, fully lined, with a zipper that just disappeared when zipped up. I'm thinking that today, you couldn't find a dress like that for less than $300.

Ahhh, Casual Corner! I remember its exact location in my hometown mall! Great little starter wardrobe!

That and T.H. Mandy, if anyone remembers it. I used to spend the bulk of my (meager) paycheck on work clothes there in the early 90s.

Banana Republic Factory can be hit or miss, but I have purchased quite a few linen skirts, jackets, structured tops, and pants over the past few seasons that are great quality. If you hit the sales at the right time they are very inexpensive, too.

I have some really terrific shirts by "Universal Thread" at Target.

I buy these basic racerback tanks from Target every summer, and they fit so perfectly and wash so well and dress up easily when worn with a skirt or linen pants.

Omg! I got my interview suit from casual corner 25 years ago. It was lined and 100 percent wool. Loved that suit so much. I think I donated it many many years ago, partly because it did not fit anymore.

Old navy linen pants. I got them two years ago, I think. They are amazing. I also like old navy breath on joggers.

Few Moda can be great! Some of the sizing can be a bit off but the quality is great for the price.

Didn’t read the whole thing, but if no one has said it yet: Muji and Uniqlo are as good as Everlane for 1/3 or 1/4 the price

o

I did this recently - the exact dress, color and size I was going to buy new for $130 was on sale on eBay for $35. It arrived in excellent condition!
