She does, but some of those poses are just ridiculous |
While I respect what you're saying. Martha in this example has always been appearance focused so anything she is doing is in line with her personality regardless of age. |
|
The people freaking out about this are hilarious. If it's not your thing, cool. But she looks decent overall and phenomenal for an octogenarian.
Having STRONG OPINIONS about Sports Illustrated or what Martha Stewart does with her time is crazy. |
Except when she starting modeling at 15. |
SI was ALWAYS about empowering delusional men. Also, you missed the point of the rest of my post. |
| OK, I kind of love it. I do think her face looks way too plastic-y. But her shoulders, arms and legs look strong and toned. The suits are flattering and appropriate for an 80yo, I could definitely picture my 75yo mom wearing them - it's not like she put on some ridiculous looking skimpy bikini to try and look sexy. She looks strong, mature, and self confident. I feel like she is laughing her way through this, having a great time and just being like eff-it, I'm 81 and going to have fun in life! When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple..... |
| Jailbait. LoL. |
Who is freaking out? If you mean twitter, when are those people not freaking out about everything? |
And if it was a young model young girls could feel like crap because they will never look like her, especially the photoshopped cover image of here. |
|
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Women have two choices:
Look old Look weird Either way, there's criticism. So do what makes you feel good. |
They have fat, obese women in bathing suits now too. Man, I miss the old days with Cheryl Tiegs, Kathy Ireland, Elle, Paulina, Carol Alt, Christie Brinkley when they were in their prime. I loved watching the documentary and the different suits and locations and the girls sometimes freezing or literally having their feet shredded to get just the right photo…and the composition of the right suit, right color with the surroundings. It was such a big reveal —the cover back in the day and the models were so stunning. As a straight, heterosexual teen girl I loved, loved those old issues. Martha looks great, but I wish they kept the supermodels and didn’t start making a men’s jerk magazine include an 81-year old grandma on the cover or a 215lb woman in a thong on the pages. |
I agree with you except to a point. I can promise you she has thin, crepey, lined, jiggly skin on her arms, neck, hands and legs. |
Completely agree. You can cheer on Martha Stewart and ALSO cheer for all the regular grandmas! |
| Martha is now claiming her fresh face is because she takes her vitamins lol. |
| Can someone please tell me the beauty and surgery routine to be looking like Martha at 81 |
