And Romeo and Juliette with Leo DiCaprio and Claire Danes

Specific scene from R and J: “Kissing You” by Desiree with Claire Danes and Leo seeing each other for the first time and looking at each other through the fish aquarium.

My teenage self swooned out of the movie theater seat when they scene happened

Still one of the most swoon worthy scenes EVER shot

Jake Gyllenhaal getting his a** beat while Bobby McFerrin’s ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ plays in the background. Brilliant.

-Nicole Kidman singing opening credits in the undoing
-The song “Precious Love” in S2 finale of Schitt’s Creek, and the song “Time After Time” when Ted & Alexis break up for the last time
-Jim & Pam’s wedding song on the office

Possibly my most favorite tv song

Many Damon and Elena scenes from Vampire Diaries. Here are a couple that I can remember loving the music during the scene.

Ah, that News Night scene was so good!

When I see episodes of West Wing or News Night, I'm so dismayed by how much has changed since then. Most of the fights on West Wing were about policy differences. Our divisions were organic to the U.S. and not seeded and watered by hostile foreign actors. Differences of opinion were intense and sometimes reflected fundamentally difference beliefs or values, not not two wholly difference realities. Political fights were ugly, but still lawful.
