This is important to me too. It's probably what keeps me going. But lately my 3 guesses are falling behind my 4s and I'm pissed about it.

I also will not share my start word with anyone but one child. I’m ordinarily not very competitive, I care about sportsmanship and am strict with the kids about it. I don’t know why, but Wordle really brings out the worst in me.

I change my start word everyday to keep it interesting. I use the five letter word I just read most recently elsewhere, like "worst" above

I have always used the same start word which makes it easier as I have certain patterns I follow based on row 1. I keep thinking I should change for challenge but have not. I do not subscribe so don't know my stats ,(or care)

I’m 99.9% too but I’m not remotely Mensa. Wordle isn’t very hard. I wouldn’t use it as a measure of intelligence.

97%. Usually the fails are ones where I have 3 letters right and there are many options for the remaining 2 and I just guess the wrong ones. I get most in 3-4 guesses.

Exactly the same for me. It's those SHA_E kind of words that get me. Is it shave, shade, shake, shame, shape...lol.
