A brand new application is a lot. |
| Arlington should aim for SLAC more. They are great schools and many Arlington students are great but can’t compete with the local private schools students due to connections and legacy. So snatch up the top SLAC instead. Your kids will be happier there too. |
Well. You can look up TJHSST, the stats are amazing. |
UVA booster. It was 33. |
TJ has the best college acceptances except for few privates. |
Some kids don't say where they are going. At my kid's high school, there were cases where rejected kids' families wrote to top universities to report on accepted kids' academic crimes. |
And less than 20% of students enrolling are submitting ACT scores. |
Test optional has made it that only the very highest scores are being submitted which has really f*d things up. It skews the averages. |
Ooh, must be McLean, Oakton, Marshall, or Meridian! |
Median cumulative was 34, just checked SCHEV for 21-22 stats Math was 35, English 33. |
That's the literal definition of dozens. |
But again, with test optional, this was for only about 20% of applicants. (UVA gets more students submitting SAT.) Those with higher scores are the ones submitting. Likewise, things like class rank are also only for those who have a class rank submitted, which is about 38% of enrolled students. The other 62% had no class rank submitted. You should keep this in mind when looking at stats. |
It was USWNR #1 high school this year, wasn't it? There you go. |
Many high schools no longer provide or tell kids class rank. Ours doesn't. I think it's kind of messed up. I went to Ffx Co public school and my class rank is on my Final report card. |
It also was shocking the lack of grade inflation in 1988. I had a 3.89 and was #15 out of 452 students. |
