I was contemplating this yesterday. The language of EO#2 banning mask mandates (banning CRT or “any inherently divisive” content was #1) says “any school”. My question is whether it’s implied to apply only to public schools since they are state-funded and run by VA DoE. Privates are neither. Does he even have the authority to do that? I had the same question. If a private preschool or school said "We are requiring masks," isn't that fine since they don't use public funds?
