That “minority” donates by far the most MONEY. So we’ll see who wins out. If you think St Marys ain’t be voluntary mask in a week, I have a condo in Miami for you. |
Wow. Are you a St Marys parent? I hope this well funded minority takes the other students (and more importantly, the teachers!) feelings into consideration before ripping their masks off gleefully. |
F your feelings, right? |
Awwww. Did wittle Trumplicans get their feewings hurt?
|
| Does lifting the masking mandate only apply to public schools? I’m confused. |
It’s precious how “Christian” you are.

Privates can do whatever they want now. |

The mandate covered all k-12 schools. The crazy thing is Youngkin is even trying to prohibit private schools from requiring masks, if you read the language of the order. “A child whose parent has elected that he or she is not subject to a mask mandate should not be required to wear a mask under any policy implemented by a teacher, school, school district, the Department of Education, or any other state authority.” What happened to letting private entities make their own decisions without government interference? |
Privates that followed the Northam EO will need to follow the Youngkin EO. |

Privates can just say that masks are part of the uniform. |
No they can’t |
| I was contemplating this yesterday. The language of EO#2 banning mask mandates (banning CRT or “any inherently divisive” content was #1) says “any school”. My question is whether it’s implied to apply only to public schools since they are state-funded and run by VA DoE. Privates are neither. Does he even have the authority to do that? Not trolling, it’s an honest question. |
I had the same question. If a private preschool or school said "We are requiring masks," isn't that fine since they don't use public funds? |
