Facilities that test frozen embryos

Anonymous
Does anyone know of a clinic that will test frozen embryos not created at its facility and allow you to do the FET somewhere else? Thanks!

That would require a lot of transport of the embryos, first to the lab and then to a clinic.

i agree that is a lot of $$ to be transporting back and forth.

option 1:Have it tested at the clinic where it is currently being stored then move them to the clinic where u want to do your FET. that seems more practical. especially if you have not yet decided where to have your FET.

option 2:If you know for sure a clinic that will do your FET then you can have them test it. this seems to be your two best options.

OP here. I agree that it's a lot of moving around. I wouldn't mind having them tested at their current location (GIVF), but GIVF makes you get the FET there if they do the testing. We can do the FET for much less at Walter Reed (subsidized for military folks) and the medications are also included. Walter Reed doesn't do PGS (at least they didn't do it when I was going through IVF 5 years ago).
