what were the first symptoms? Just wondering how this flu progresses. Thanks.

I guessed we have swine flu (didn't get tested). My 6 year old had a headache the first day that went away with tylenol. Woke up in the night with a raging fever. Had a raging fever, cough and a headache for the first full day, then a cough and a low fever the second day, same today but is also bouncing off the walls so on the mend.

I woke up with a splitting headache, then had chills and felt like my legs were breaking at the hips and knees the first day, now I have slight aches, a headache and a cough. (I never get fevers.)

Not sure that helps since we're not confirmed cases, but it's something....

Hmm..my four year old had a headache this weekend with a low temp, but he seems ok today. Hadn't thought headache would be a first symptom of swine flu....

Horrible sore throat and achy body for the first day followed by high fever for both my, DD and DH. The chills and body aches were awful. I seriously contemplated going to the hospital myself because I felt that bad when my own fever spiked at 104. I was sick for 2 weeks, 9 days with a temperature, DD was sick for 5 days and DH was sick for 4-5 days though he took tamiflu.

Fever, headache, exhaustion. Kids had a cough early on, mine came several days in. I had muscle aches. I am not sure if the kids did- they never said.
