Ballard Designs Sale Schedule

Anonymous
Does anyone follow their sale schedule? We are in the middle of a reno and really won't have the space for the 3 large items I want right now. The current promo is 30% off $2,000 and up. We won't be able to have the new items in the house until November. Any insight on if they tend to run this sort of promo often? I know they are always running 15% off, but beyond that I don't know how often they run sales.

Not sure on their sale, but I took out a credit card with them when I was buying a few big items and it saved me $ on top of the sale price. It also immediately gave me a bunch of points which enabled me to buy a couple of other nice items. I'm not into store cards, but it's worth looking into if you know you are going to spend a chunk of $.

Some of the items are high quality, others are so so. Check the reviews. I look at the materials and try not to buy anything that isn't solid wood. Ballard, Pottery Barn, et al, are all guilty of charging really high prices for particleboard furniture. Bassett does the same.

I just got a very large mirror at Home Goods that looks exactly the same as Ballard's. But I paid 60% less

I'm spoiled because I furnished my home when I lived in Atlanta when I lived near the Ballard outlet!
