DD wants to spend a month at a Maine sleep away camp next summer and I would love suggestions! She would be happy with either all girls or coed.

Thank you!!

Adding on to this Q: Any day camps? I’m thinking next year of getting house in Maine for month/sending DD to M-F day camp while I work. She’ll be 10

My nine year-old niece spent a few weeks at Camp Wekeela this summer and loved it. Her dad grew up in Maine and went to the same camp as a kid.

Does it have to be Maine? My dds have all gone to Wicosuta in NH and loved it. It is such a well-run camp with a great community of girls and counselors. My DDs have all made life-long friends there.

If she likes theater, Camp Centerstage is now in Livermore, Maine permanently in a brand new facility--the cabins just opened this summer even though the camp has existed in other locations for years.
