they just had you fill in an address, no verification that your address was legit though.

They will not vaccinate children under the age of 3. They have no good reason for doing this (based on unscientific evidence of themerisol causing autism).

I heard it was under the age of 2.

I filled in my Alexandria address and they had no problem with it. Got the vaccine. For those who care about these things, they don't have the Thimerisol-free version yet.

I heard that too, which is why I left work, pulled my child out of daycare, and drove there to get the vaccine. The woman handing out the forms turned us away because my son was not yet 3. She didn't know what she was talking about - she said that all they had was the "live virus form of the injection" - which is not even something that exists. I pressed her hard, and asked for a supervisor, who clarified that they don't have themerisol free shots and it is Arlington County's policy to not give vaccines to children 2 and under (INCLUDING 2 YEAR OLDS) if they contain themersol. So your child must be 3.
