strong start dc services

hi, anyone use strong start dc services for their toddlers? Does one have to go through pediatrician to get them or can I just call in and ask for an assessment?
My ds is 20 months.

You can just call and get an assessment. No need to wait on your pediatrician.

Parents can refer without a medical professional. Here's the link to the referral form:

Your child would meet the eligibility criteria if he/she has a delay of at least 25% in at least one area of development (communication, fine motor, gross motor cognition, social emotional or adaptive/self help) or a diagnosed condition that lends itself to a developmental delay.
