Book recommendations for 13 year old girl

Anonymous
I have a 13 year old DD who likes to read, is above grade level, but doesn't want ot be too challenged. She also strongly prefers graphic novels, which is fine by us, and we buy/borrow plenty. But lately I've been feeling like she needs me more options. Her younger brother and I are avid readers and read and discuss books together a lot. My DD and I like very different sorts of books, though - she liked the Little house books fine as long as I was reading them to her, for example, but won't read them herself. She every once in a while will read a narnia book, and she liked the Hobbit as long as I was reading it to her.

The books she's liked the most was a YA series called Alice in Zombie Land, which I kind of think was little too racy for her (the author also writes adult erotica?), but she loved them. She's said she'd like ot read YA romance. I'm at loss in terms of recommendations, though. If we go to the library she will pick out graphic novels (but has sort of outgrown books like Smile, or the unicorn ones, wimpy kid, etc).

Any recommendations for YA light romance books? I don't think she'd be into The Hunger Games or anything like that (though maybe?).

From my daughters (ages 12.5 and 13.5)....

Heartless, Marissa Myer (romance, but dark)

Divergent Series (romance, action, similar to Hunger Games)

Lunar Chronicles (very romantic, first book is slow, but love the series)

The Fault in our Stars

The School for Good and Evil series

Renegade, Marissa Myer (mostly action, side love story)

Not romantic, but still recommend - Chains, Laurie Halse Anderson and sequel, Forge

This is an old one but it is fantastic and withstands the test of time:

Jacob Have I Loved by Katherine Patterson

Start with the John Greene books. Go from there.
