Shows about teachers

I've been binging on a Danish show called Rita on Netflix, about a chain-smoking renegade teacher, her compassion for the kids she teaches her three young adult kids and her messy choices in men). But I've been thinking there aren't really many shows about teachers. Room 222 from the '60s comes to mind. Maybe School of Rock. My dad was a teacher and DD is an education major, so I was curious what else is out there.

Wiki has quite a few listed. I really liked Boston Public in the early 2000s.

that's a good question. i know there are some about students and teachers are sort of an afterthought.

Boston Public with Joey McIntyre

Head of the Class in the 80's.

Boy Meets World was not about a classroom per se, but there were a lot of classroom scenes and his teacher was his next door neighbor.

Bad Teacher was a recent one--I think only a few episodes aired before it was canceled.

I haven’t seen it but Greg Davies has a show on Netflix based on his time as a special ed teacher:

This show on Hulu (or at least it was for a long time)is one of my favorites:
