Best quick-sensing nail clippers for dogs?

Wondering if anyone can recommend a brand? The reviews of ones from Petco all say the sensors don't actually work. My dog has a combo of dark and light nails, though more dark ones than light.

Im not saying this to be snarky, but if you walk your dog on concrete regularly, like a sidewalk, they dont need their nails clipped. Its all a marketing ploy.

This is not true for all dogs. Our first Beagle never had to have his nails clipped. Our second needed to be clipped - the concrete did nothing. We are on our third and he is somewhere between the two - gets walked on concrete every day but every once in a while still needs a trim. I guess it all depends on the density of he nails and rate of nail growth.

OP here. I appreciate your non-snarkiness, but you should know there are times when a dog may not be able to be walked regularly on concrete. Like my dog. He is awaiting two surgical procedures on his legs, is limping on 3 legs as a result, and can't even be let out in our grassy backyard without a leash to use the bathroom for fear of the damage he will incur. Total bed rest ordered by the vet, only to go outside to use the bathroom and to return immediately. The recovery period is months and suffice it to say, he will not be walking regularly anywhere, much less on concrete. Hence, I need nail clippers.

Absolutely not true. We walk 3 miles every day, mostly on a paved road, and his nails grow like weeds. There is also a genetic component to the speed of growth, even within the same breed.

Yeah my beagle is walked miles per day on concrete and still needs her nails trimmed.

OP here. Dog in question is actually a beagle as well.
