I'm sorry Doctor....Did you say BABIES?

That's right. I'm having twins! No, they don't run in my family and no I have not gone through any fertility treatments. But this would explain why my pants already don't fit at 7 weeks. Pray for us!

Congratulations! I'm envious. During both pregnancies, when I was about 7 weeks, I hoped for twins.

I just posted. And I didn't get twins, not that I'm complaining. But I think twins are the best!

Ha! Same thing happened to me! I'm 14 weeks now and have gotten over the initial shock. It's going to be a ton of work and definitely chaotic but I'm excited about it. Just think, your kids will always have each other and if you only wanted 2 kids, now you're done! It's a special club and I'm psyched to be part of it--welcome!

OP and 16:33 should get in touch IRL. Twins aren't that common!

Congratulations, OP. When we went to the doctor for my DS's first sonogram, doc said "hang on, I think he might have some company." I was elated, DH was somewhat mildly horrified (due to extra work of twins). It was a false alarm, however! For a brief moment, however, I thought I was part of your club.

Good luck!!!!!!! And I will pray for ya.

Congrats. Im due anyday with twins and ive found that the area has many great resources for twin families. If you're in DC there is a DC Twins Yahoo group that is very helpful. The Montgomercy County Parents of Multiples Group is also very active. Good Luck!
