| Has anyone received their PARCC score reports from MCPS yet? I know Howard County has already posted theirs on their school portal which has been available since July 11th. Are the reports being mailed home? |

| Yes, people do care about PARCC to see the areas in which their children can improve. People care enough to see if there is a need for IEP, or 504 plans or a tutor. So yes, pp people do care and I hope that you care about your child’s scores too. |

For ES, PARCC Scores have traditionally come out in the Fall Semester for the previous Spring's administration. The 2018 administration is the 3rd year the scores have "counted." In 2017 I recall score reports for students coming out in October-ish. In 2016 it was December-ish. Maybe someone has a more precise memory?

| Are there any MCPS teachers or admins in which know about these reports? I don’t understand why MCPS would release them in October when HCPS can release them in July. |

| We have always gotten ours in the summer. Not this year though. Would love to know how child did on Geometry! |

Last year, I passed out PARCC reports within the first six weeks in homeroom. I presume its going to be around the same time frame.
Each county does things differently. MCPS has a much larger student population compared to HCPS. -MCPS High School Teacher |

Per our elementary principal, student reports will be mailed from central office and PDF files posted to myMCPS by September 14.

I heard that there were only 3 places that still used PARCC this last year (DC, Maryland and New Jersey). NJ is dropping it for this upcoming year. I’d be very surprised if the test stays around one more year. |
