Marrakesh is fun for a big group and is as ethnic as they get (Moroccan Tables, eat with hands, belly dancer). I think it is $35pp for several course meal - and they only take cash.

I like Spice Xing in Rockville - not too expensive at all...

ethiopian food- dukem (11 and u) or meskerem (adams morgan). Dukem has live music and is a more festive dining experience, imo.
with ethiopian you can just order combo platters to share, so it takes the pressure off ordering for a large group.

Thanks for the suggestions! Someone in our party is working on a degree in African Studies-- so Dukem fits the bill! (They are from out of town). Thanks again
