Teen Titan Go - movie— WAY caught off guard by ending

So I took my two kids aged 9 and 10 and three of their friends to see the Teen Titan Go movie today. The movie was decent, pretty funny, some fart jokes and booty shaking jokes but otherwise pretty tame. However, in the very last scene, right before the credits rolled, the main character yells “Hey kids! On the ride home, ask your parents where babies come from!” Then the movie ends. I was gobsmacked!!! All 5 kids turned to me and that question was all they talked about on the walk out of the theater to the car. I mean, what!! I’m really laid back and I can see how that was hilarious to the director and all the single viewers or parents with older kids. But it was totally awkward for me and I was NOT prepared to talk about it, especially with my kids’ friends! So- just a word of warning, if you see this movie with be prepared to get your sex Ed on because there WILL be questions

Before we hear any more from the value-signalling sex positive parents, I hope they will at least admit that there's a time and place for such discussions and it is NOT up to movie studios to decide that.

You have got to be kidding. Sure, go ahead and decide for yourself then. When your kid follows the movie's directions and asks, you respond, "There's a time and a place for that discussion and it is not right now."
