Where do you buy concert tickets?

I am looking online for tickets for Zac Brown Band and there seems to be an endless number of sites who sell tickets. The ticket prices are not all that different, but the service fees are ridiculous. $30 per tickets in some cases. What is the site with the lowest fees?

Not what you're asking but go to the venue and buy from the box office if you can. That's the cheapest.

That is a good idea. I don't think it's sold out by any means.

Did you try ticketmaster?

The problem is, Bots buy them all up as soon as they go on sale. My DD tried to buy tickets the other day to a concert at the 9:30 Club on their ticket page the minute they went on sale. Within 30 seconds the show was sold out. Within five minutes the $25.00 tickets were all on sale on Vivid Seats, etc. There's no way anyone could complete a sale with all of the information you have to input in 30 seconds. It had to be computer programs.

The venues really need to find a way to combat this. It happens all the time.

OP - I've used both Stub Hub and Ticketmaster resale to buy tickets to shows that were sold out. Sometimes, if you wait until the last minute, the prices go down when sellers can't sell them. But not always. It's a crap shoot.

Good luck.

PP again - meant to say the $25.00 tickets were on resale sites for $65.00 and up with crazy service fees.

Was it general sale or presale? You'll have better luck with presale. Make sure you're on the 9:30 mailing list.
