Running 150:1 pre-mix 2-cycle fuel in a regular 4-cycle engine. Bad?

I have a lot of pre-mix gas for a boat motor that I need to dispose of, and was wondering if there's any harm in running power equipment on it? Mowers, gensets, other power equipment.

I diluted the original 50:1 ratio and got it down to 150:1 by adding gas to it. It's still got a slight greenish tint to it, and still has lubricity. Will this cause any harm other that a bit of blue smoke in the exhaust?

It's fine

I think the general consensus is that it should be fine. But, personally, I wouldn’t risk it. The modern day cars are full of high tech sensors, I would be concerned about some unexpected funky stuff happening. How much do you have?

power equipment like mowers generators fine. as PP said not in a car, not worth the risk.

they key is to not let the fuel sit in the carb and evaporate. as the varnish from two stroke fuel is a PITA so use what you have in each sitting.

I've run 50:1 mixed fuel in 4 stroke lawn and gardem tractor with no ill effects.
