| From the early-mid 80's? It's being remade. Kinda excited. Go ahead, call me a nerd. |
| oh my god I loved V! I bet it won't be as good though... |
| I'm interested. I was too young to watch it the first time around, but I remember other kids talking about it. |
Me too. My sister was able to watch it and she would rub it in. |
| I'm sure the remake will be terrible. Now Battlestar Galactica - that was a great remake. |
| Yes! And I was just telling my husband yesterday morning about how my parents let me watch it and one episode where a young girl scratched open her arm to find green scaly alien skin underneath scared the crap out of me. 25 years ago and I still remember being so afraid that was going to happen to me (and I was 10). |
I will admit that this series was the reason why I had a very slight and irrational fear during my DD's birth that she would come out and I'd find out she was a lizard-like alien baby. Luckily she was all human. I loved that show, and I'm also excited for the remake even if it's not as good as the original.

Ohhh yeyyy. I didn't grow up in the US, but I remember watching this show when I was 5 or 6 (what were my parents thinking? ). I loved it. My cousins, my sister , and I would play pretend and act out the episodes, but there were always discussion because everybody wanted to be the "star child" Elizabeth or Diana.
Oddly enough of all the "too old for us" shows that I watched, the only one that scare me was an episode on "Punky Brewster". |
