| Other than one assistant priest who left our parish, it has not been an issue thus far my teen daughter claims. I keep asking if she wants to switch to an openly gay-friendly parish near the HRC in DC. She says no. The homilies in our suburban parish are generally about social justice issues and there are people who seem gay or lesbian serving in several ministries. Given her personality, if she felt uncomfortable, she’d let us know. |
