If so, are there any that would pay claims in the following scenarios:
- I buy a ticket on Spirit Air or a similar low-budget airline. - I buy travel insurance that same day. - The airline delays my trip for two days, due to random reasons, or it gets me to a Spirit hub late, I miss a Spirit connection, and I have to spend the night at the airport, or in a motel by the airport? If there are policies that would pay delay or missed connection benefits in those scenarios, are there any that would provide the cash to pay for the motel room up front, rather than reimbursing me after I file a claim? |

I think probably any policy will do the first and no policy will do the second but you might call the tripinsurancestore.com and ask them. (Note many credit cards will do the first and the second)

No way you could get the cash up front, no insurance policy would do that. Would make them too prone to abuse. |
