Skinny jeans + booties, need help

Anonymous
What am I doing wrong? The ankles on my skinny jeans are always sticking out and it looks terrible. I have tried multiple jeans and jeggings and can’t figure it out. How do you get this to look right?

Give up and try again in the fall. Why are you wearing jeans and boots in 90 degree weather?

Seriously! Save this question for the fall.

I got shit on for this before, but the jeans must be very skinny with no extra fabric at the ankle and also a slightly cropped ankle length. It looks very strange when the hem is covered by the top of the boot.

Well I just bought really cute booties on sale, being summer and all, so now the question is on my mind. I have 2 months to find the perfect jeans!

Yes slightly cropped but not too cropped. I found JBrand have some that work for me. 620 cropped in particular.

Also the type of boots make a difference. I bought a pair of Chloe Susanna boots and the types of jeans seems to matter less.

If they’re bunching up, rolling them up slightly (a single roll, maybe twice) can help. Leg Opening should be around 5in, not much more.

I am looking for a pair that would work with booties as well. Can someone suggest one for under $100?

this will sound crazy but the Old Navy Rockstar skinny jeans work.. I have lots of "high end" jeans but seriously , try the Old Navy ones.

I like a rolled cuff best, I don't want to own multiple lengths of jeans and even if the hem ends perfectly a hair above the boot, it doesn't always look like an intentional length. Fold a cuff more than twice the desired width, then fold that a second time with the hem a little exposed above the fold. I think the extra bulk at the hem works with a variety of boot styles. I do have one pair of boots with more of a sock boot fit at the ankle and I think those look good with boot inside a pant leg. This time of year if I'm wearing jeans, it's the same cuff but paired with a clog or block heeled sandal.

wow they are still selling those?

Roll the cuff or wear leggings or a crop jean. You cannot tuck them and make it look good.
