Cheaper Version of Nuna Mixx - $$

Anonymous
I have fallen in love with the Nuna Mixx, but I would prefer something a little less expensive. Anyone have advice for a ~$300 stroller that is comparable? I really liked the flip front and back, foldability, weight, and the wheels/suspension. It just seemed like a great city streets/metro stroller.

I don’t know that stroller, but I have three kids and have owned multiple strollers from $100-$1000. I would recommend the citimini. Its easy to push and has one hand fold.

Nuna Tavo; multiple reclining positions with footrest adjusting up or down...can create bassinet like setting when reclined in a flat position. Nuna Pipa clips right in as well.

Mamas and Papas Sola2- the best stroller I ever owned, very similar to the Mixx.

Here I see Sola2 for $343 you would have to buy a bassinet separately if you wanted one, but my baby slept in it without a bassinet perfectly fine. It's a totally flat recline, pushes like a dream, reversible and light. The only negative is that folding is awkward https://www.albeebaby.com/mamas-and-papas-sola-2-chrome-stroller-petrol-blue.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=googlepla&gclid=CjwKCAjw7IbaBRBqEiwA6AyZgvuiOFdXILPlQ1PKZHalKr1iYP4oMjezmS08s7IMeVVxdz01ENkejRoC0T0QAvD_BwE

Thanks! I hadn’t heard of the Sola2. I will see if I can check it out in person.

Maybe the new Ergo360 stroller? Everything I've heard about Nuna strollers is that they feel luxurious but they're super heavy and not that durable.

Buy it thru Buy Buy Baby and pick up at the store heck it out and then return to Buy Buy baby so you can get it cheaper elsewhere

Ridiculous advice. Plus, Buy Buy baby matches prices.

I have the Nuna Tavo, it has been on sale a lot this year, or with promotions. We got it in Feb. essentially free with the price of a pipa light car seat.

We loved our secondhand Sola2!

Be sure to lock frame when folding. I pinched myself getting it out of the car a few times when it opened on its own. Otherwise it’s a dream.

We had Sola2 in 2013. It survived multiple trips to Europe and Mexico. That thing went on so many flights, and came out without a scratch. The only negative was that it did not do well in the snow in Russia because the wheels are plastic, and you need inflatable rubber for snow. However it did great in mud and sand. Not sure why it is not more popular here, I was the only one in my 2013 birth year mom’s group with this stroller. It looks and feels and handles better than any luxury stroller out there.

I love my Nuna MIxx too, OP. I have had it for 3 years now and using it for baby #2. Would you consider buying a used one? I see used models on craigslist every once in a while.

+1 on craigslist. I have expensive taste and a cheap husband. We got our stroller and crib on craigslist... fancy baby swing off facebook market ... even my breast pump!
