I've seen this somewhere, but unsure where now that I actually want it. Can someone help me find a list of the charters that have language immersion programs? TIA |

Link to full list of charters. Top of mind for language immersion, elementary Spanish -- LAMB French/Spanish -- Elsie Stokes Chinese -- Yu Ying there are other Spanish, not top of my mind! Also consider applying OOB to Oyster (spanish) and/or Tyler (spanish) |
more elementary Spanish:
DC Bilingual/Centronia At the middle school level there's Washington Latin (it's not immersion, but it is a high-end Latin program and if you can master Latin you'll find actual modern French and Spanish pretty easy to grasp). |
Also, here are schools that offer immersion or lots of Spanish exposure at the Pre-school (Pre-K 3) level (most schools start at Pre-K 4):
Bridges (ask for a bilingual classroom) DC Bilingual/Centronia LAMB Tyler (DCPS) |
Here is the link to the Search Engine on the DC Public Charter School Board. You can search by grades, wards and speciality like language. Sort of like DCPS school search. Includes scores and other info.
