2022 Boys lacrosse

Been watching this class of boys for years best of luck heading to high school. It will be fun to see some of boys playing on the same teams that have been rival club teams.

Which club program has the best boys 2022 team in the DC area (not including Baltimore clubs like Crabs)?

DC Express and Madlax--nothing else close

Ha ok Cabell whatever you say. DC Express has the best coaches and players in the DMV. Not bad for a program only a couple years old. That’s why there is a sense of nervousness by the Madlax/Cabell crowd.

I don’t have a dog in this fight and I can’t stand the Madlax guy either but all the best boy lax players my 2022 DD knows play for Madlax.

They have an excellent 2021 team. But they only field 8th-11th. Their HS sucks outside of 2021. They do not have the best coaches.

They also charge almost $200 for tryouts. Their greed will destroy that club.

You are kidding right? The 2022 DCE team lost in finals of NLF tourney a couple of weeks ago. This was the deepest fileld of any summer tournament—they beat some of the best teams in the country including the Hawks and BBL (twice) before losing a close game to LIE in the finals. Nonsense to write that stuff....and 2021 DCE is also one of best teams in country.

And maybe your son who is telling you about where all the best lax players in 2022 needs to get out of your backyard or off the couch more.

Its my DD and she does play for the best girls 2022 team in the DC metro so there is that. She also trains and works out all the time with other athletes so not spending much time in the yard or on the couch. She doesnt know a single boy who plays for DCE but Im not saying that means DCE isnt a great team she just doenst know them. Where do most of the DCE kids go to school?

Also what about VLC? Is their 2022 team strong?

5 or so to GZ, about the same to Landon and a couple to Bullis. I don’t know anything about VLC they are never at the same tournaments. That should tell you something.
