ISO recommendations for this weekend!

I’ll be visiting a friend and staying her place with my 3 kids (10, 9 and 1.5 years old). She’s temporarily in NYC and doesn’t know the city, and neither do I. Any ideas for how we can enjoy the city without too much expense?

Amazing playgrounds. Example: along the Hudson River near the World Trade Center.

Also: ferry boats.
