USY Kadima Encampment

Synagogue is pushing this hard. Can anyone share with me what goes on there? My kids have already left for camp so I can't ask them if they want to go. And that's what's bothering me. They're already in camp and will be there until Aug 17. Encampment is the 20th-24th. If it's just another week of camp with different kids, I think we'll pass. But if it's about planning and setting the agenda for the year then that's something to consider. Or if committees are formed here or any other year long lasting decisions, then I guess she'll go.

I'd ask your kids directly in your next letter to them, or pay the dollar for the email printout (at least how my kid's camp did it). You will get an answer to your kids about how they feel about going away again.
