Jeff, what's w the recent deletion of threads (J-H) as well as posts pertaining to ACPS? Are you being asked to delete these?

Thank you for your response.

Update: I found the most recent J-H thread and bumped it up. It did have quite a few deletions of recent posts on how neighborhood residents fill the school. I sure hope we can have open mindedness and open discussion by resident's in Alexandria. We pay the taxes after all. I'd hate to think there is active ACPS appeal for censorship on this site. We currently are going through the Potomac Yard WMATA vs Alexandria disclosure and it isn't pretty.

Democracy doesn't have to die in darkness. Other jurisdictions are very open (Arlington Public Schools) in their threads. Let's not encourage ACPS censorship. Most Alexandria residents mean well.

I believe the only posts that I deleted from that thread (other than your bump which I deleted because we don't allow bumps) were posts referring to lazy black kids or something along those lines. I have no tolerance for racist posts and I actively censor them. I hope racism dies in darkness.

The actual phrase was "poor, unruly, black kids."
