Drug culture at Reed?

Is it over the top and all hype? Keep hearing how “bad drugs are at Reed.” Is it really that bad and worse vs other schools....or just typical college?

The name came about because someone conceptualized it as WEED COLLEGE, but a hired typewriter accidentally spelled it as REED COLLEGE instead and the creator realized it had a certain subtlety that WEED COLLEGE didn't.

And thus, the name stuck- REED COLLEGE.

It's been known as Weed College since at least the 1980s.
