Stoddert?

How is the new principal at Stoddert? When I look on the web I don't see a detailed description of the program there the way I do for other DC elementaries (Which curriculum? Responsive classroom?) Does anyone know what the program is there?

The current principal was newly appointed this summer. The former principal was fired by Rhee. She got mixed reviews on this board, I have not personal experience.

The current principal is a former Murch principal, who moved out of the area, and got only favorable comments on this board.

The school did not meet its enrollment target this year, target of 319, enrollment of 281

This school year, they are in trailers while the old building has a major addition / renovation.

As for curriculum/responsive classroom, all DC schools teach to the DC standards, the best way to get school specific details is to go on a tour or request a principal meeting. Website info is not necessarily up to date, as DC individual school websites are maintained by PTA volunteers. I have read some websites where the information that I receive on the tour is quite different, and the website is what's incorrect.

Stoddert website was redesigned recently, so probably all that is there is relevant.

Good luck!
