totally different pregancy

I am curious to see how many peoplel are experiencing the same thing or have had in the past. With my first I was basically incapacitated for most of the pregnancy..it was that bad. This one is completely different. I am not going to say that I don't feel pregnant; I do but with completely different things going on. This one I feel exhausted to the point where I now take a nap everyday when dd goes down-I am unbelievable thirsty-I crave grapes day in and out-I am getting weird headaches and mainly feel the nauseated feeling at night when I am in bed. I don't know if this has anything to do with sex (I don't know) but some people tell me yes it's because I must be carrying a boy and other people have told me they have had two kids of the same sex and completely different pregnancies. I know feel funny that I used to think it strange when I read about this i.e. how can each pregnancy feel different but for me..it does.

Yep, totally different here. Last one, I was tired from the second I got up. This one, not so bad. Last time, I threw up if I was too hungry. This time, I feel nauseous if I get too full. It's pretty interesting how different the pregnancies are!

I am pregnant with my second boy and this pregnancy is a little different. I am midway through my second trimester and the leg cramps have already set in. Between getting up about a million times in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and now with the leg cramps, I barely get any sleep. I also suffered from migraines with both pregnancies in the first trimester. It just seems that with this pregnancy, I am experiencing things a little earlier than I did with my first pregnancy. I also have two older sisters who said that their second pregnancies were harder than their firsts. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and hang in there!

Someone recently posted about whether you can tell the sex of the baby from those symptoms - looks like you really can't.

And yes, your symptoms from one pregnancy to another can be completely different!

My mother's pregnancies were opposite of each other, in every way, from shape of the belly, symptoms, to cravings, etc. We're both girls...

i'm having a pretty different pregnancy this time around-everything is more extreme, although i had bad morning sickness with #1, this one i was almost nonfuncitonal i was so sick, barfed at least 5 times a day, then second trimester felt unbelievabley great-tons of energy, now in last trimester, i'm exhausted, have lots of lower pelvic pain, back aches but feel better in general as with #`1 at this time pre-e had already set in...my belly looks exactly the same though, i'm carrying low and like a big egg or basketball in front=first was a boy and everyone assumes this is as well, but we're staying suprised...i was 33 for first pregnancy and i'm 36 with this one, and know for sure this is our last pregnancy, so i'm trying to savor it all, even the aches and pains!!!
