Prius v wagon 2017 - cartop carrier and bike rack on hitch?

I'm looking for advice on whether anyone has traveled on long trips w Prius v wagon and a cartop carrier AND a bike rack?

I don't know why you couldn't except for the fact that you'd really be defeating the purpose of having a prius... your gas mileage would likely go way down.

If I drive the Prius for most of the year with no carrier or rack and then for one or two trips I use the carriers it will save me lots of gas over the year. The only diminished fuel economy would be for a couple of days of driving.
